Job Description


  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Marketing, event management, Mass Communications or related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Aggressive and fast learner.
  • Good attitude and responsible character.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as and when required.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin speaking and writing skill.
  • Required skill(s): Adobe, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Illustrations.
  • Business-minded with entrepreneurship skill.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Target oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
  • Computer literate and numerate.
  • Exhibit strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills and results-driven.
Responsibilities
  • Conference and event planners organize and coordinate services for conferences, events, functions, banquets and seminars.
  • Promoting conferences, conventions and trade shows to potential customers;
  • Responding to inquiries concerning services provided and costs for room and equipment hire, catering and related services;
  • Arranging and coordinating services such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual and computer equipment, accommodation, transport and social events for participants, and logistical arrangements for presenters;
  • Assist manager manage events from launch, workshops, roadshows, corporate dinners, product launches, social media management and etc.
  • To handle multiple projects and will work closely with internal teams and vendors to execute seamless events.
  • Source vendor\'s quotation and negotiate costs with the vendor to ensure meet the budget.
  • Supervise event setup, operation and teardown to ensure all activities are carried out as planned.
  • Collect campaign performance data and compile event reports including feedback from participants.
  • Manage B2B events from conferences, expo, workshops, roadshows, teambuilding, corporate dinners, product launches, virtual events and etc
  • Execute from event conceptualization, pre-event development, onsite event, to post-event reporting and analysis
  • Execute and manage the following but not limited to telemarketing, onsite registration, creative assets, venue, contractor, AV, emcee, entertainer, photographer & videographer, speakers\' & sponsors\' management.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management.
