The Event Delivery Manager, Digital & Hybrid Event Programs, is part of a central services operations team that supports brands across multiple market groups. Our Event Delivery team focuses on sponsorship, exhibition, and conference fulfillment to create a safe and vibrant experience for every participant whether it be in-person or on-line.

This role will specialize in the digital delivery of events and will act as a project manager coordinating virtual platform set up. Prior to, during, and after events, the role will ensure smooth delivery of the digital program for both in-person and on-line experiences.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project manage highly complex events and festivals delivering the virtual or hybrid activities.
  • Collaborate with market leaders, event directors, and cross-functional teams to understand the strategy of the event program (virtual/hybrid/physical) and make recommendations to help implement elements of the strategies.
  • Create events in virtual platform (such as Swapcard) to execute event strategy.
  • Communicate virtual platform set up to all stakeholders including event operations colleagues, conference, marketing, and sales teams, platform operations, and vendor partners.
  • Ensure settings in virtual platform are properly set up according to event parameters (attendee pass type rules, sponsor and exhibitor rules, etc.).
  • Perform quality assurance checks of event settings in platform prior to, during, and after event closes.
  • Coordinate live stream logistics with event delivery, conference, and audio visual colleagues.
  • Responsible for digital production timeline.
  • Set up and lead digital production meetings with all key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Act as liaison between Event Operations, Platform Operations and vendor partners.
  • Contribute to annual event budget development as well as monthly forecasts. Responsible for the implementation & adherence to each. Create and manage complex P&Ls.
  • Act as Health/Safety/Security advocate for assigned events in digital setting by supporting a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion
  • Lead, train, supervise, guide and evaluate assigned cross-functional event operations teams in digital delivery of events.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Swapcard or other virtual events platform.
  • Proven prior experience in working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven expertise in managing projects with ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, presentation.
  • Prior experience of establishing a shared service operation on a digital product.
  • Tech savvy and willingness to adopt an embrace new technologies.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain relationships, understand customer experience/needs.
  • Ability to travel.
