ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the planning, setup, execution, and teardown of events. Support event logistics including delivery schedules, venue preparation, layout arrangement, and inventory placement. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely setup and smooth operations. Manage on-ground event operations, including crowd flow, signage, book displays, facilities, and customer experience. Provide hands-on support during event build-up, daily operations, and dismantling phases. Troubleshoot operational issues on-site and escalate when necessary. Support the Events Manager in ensuring all SOPs and safety guidelines are adhered to. Monitor and manage stock movement and replenishment during events. Assist in post-event wrap-up, reporting, and review. Provide support for overseas events when required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in event operations, logistics, or a related field (fresh graduates with strong internship/event experience will also be considered). Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business, or related discipline. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as in a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Physically fit and willing to be hands-on during event setup and teardown. Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with event requirements. WORKING CONDITIONS

Based at HQ Office, Section 33, Shah Alam with frequent travel to event sites across Malaysia and overseas. Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. The candidate shall maintain for a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends or public holiday as events require, to ensure the successful execution of time-sensitive initiatives
