We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy-duty excavating equipment to dig, lift, and move materials such as dirt, rock, sand, and debris on various construction projects, including site preparation, trenching, and grading.
Duties
Operate excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with project specifications and company standards.
Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.
Dig trenches, foundations, and other excavation tasks according to precise measurements.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Communicate clearly with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Adhere to all safety procedures, regulations, and policies.
Load and unload materials and assist with other construction-related tasks as needed.
Monitor machine performance and report mechanical issues promptly.
Ensure the job site is kept clean and orderly.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Excavator Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Valid CIDB Green Card and Excavator Operator License/Certification.
Knowledge of excavation techniques and construction site safety.
Physical stamina and coordination to operate heavy equipment for long periods.
Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
