Requirements
Qualifications
  • SPM / Diploma / Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plantation Management or related fields (preferred, but not compulsory).
  • Experience in nursery, agriculture, plantation, or farm operations is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with agriculture interest are encouraged to apply.
Skills
  • Basic knowledge of plants, seedlings, and nursery processes (training provided).
  • Good organisational skills, documentation skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to use basic Excel, WhatsApp, photo documentation, and simple apps.
  • Able to communicate and coordinate with workers effectively.
Personal Attributes
  • Passion for agriculture and outdoor work.
  • Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn.
  • Physically fit for outdoor nursery environment.
  • Positive attitude, good teamwork, and problem-solving mindset.
Languages
  • English / Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
Responsibilities
A. Nursery & Field Operations Support
  • Assist in planning and coordinating daily nursery & estate activities (watering, fertilising, repotting, trimming, pest control, etc.).
  • Monitor plant growth, health condition, and overall nursery & estate cleanliness.
  • Assist in communicating instructions to nursery & estate workers or general workers.
  • Take photos, record plant progress, and update plant data into the system or report.
B. Inventory & Quality Tracking
  • Maintain records for seedlings, plant batches, stock movement, and labels.
  • Assist in checking plant quality, survival rate, and reporting issues.
  • Ensure accurate documentation during receiving, planting, repotting, and dispatching.
C. Order Processing & Packing Coordination
  • Assist in preparing plant orders according to customer specifications.
  • Coordinate packing, tagging, and loading activities before delivery.
  • Communicate with logistics team or drivers for delivery arrangement.
  • Prepare delivery notes, customer documents, and shipment photos.
D. Administrative & Reporting Duties
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Update usage records for fertilizer, pesticides, materials, and tools.
  • Handle filing, data entry, documentation, SOP updates, and nursery forms.
  • Assist in staff attendance, OT claims, and basic HR admin tasks (if required).
E. Safety & Compliance Support
  • Assist in monitoring chemical/pesticide storage, usage records, and MSDS compliance.
  • Ensure workers follow proper PPE and safety guidelines.
  • Help maintain 5S, housekeeping, and farm cleanliness standards.
