Responsible for assisting Section Head, Business and Fee-Based Product Development on all aspects of product research, development, enhancement, packaging, and review especially in Deposit Product Development to meet the Bank\'s profitability, Shariah requirement, and regulatory requirements within the Bank\'s mandated role.
Organizing and/or coordinating working committees from the relevant departments/stakeholders in order to execute the product development process flow.
Guide and supervise team members and subordinates for the end-to-end product development, approval and implementation.
Instrumental in assisting the Section Head and contributing towards achieving departmental KPI.
Conduct research initiatives on new business prospects and create a path to utilize more untested but acceptable product concepts pragmatically.
Assess product performance regarding profitability and market penetration to ensure it supports future growth directions and business priorities.
Lead development of complex and new products to the market to capture business opportunities in specialized segments of agriculture financing business.
Recommend suitable product structures, controls and mitigations to support unique demand for financing in the under-served and unserved segments
Conducting R&D activities and developing a conceptual framework for product development.
Planning and designing a new product, packaging and/or related business initiatives with appropriate Shariah concepts and ensuring compliance with the Bank\'s policies and regulatory requirements.
Preparing business proposals and obtaining necessary approvals (i.e. Shariah Committee, MRC, ALCO, BRMC, BNM, etc. whichever is applicable.)
Providing product briefing/ training, business support and advisory functions.
Ensure that all processes are followed, and communications, concurrences, and approvals are obtained in a specific and timely manner.
Address factors that affect product competitiveness and collaborate with product developers and business units to improve the utilization of products for new business.
Promote ongoing business improvements to work processes that lead to improvement in product time-to-market.
QUALIFICATIONS
4 - 6 years of relevant experience in business managerial positions preferably in development banking and or relevant banking / financial environment.
Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience in lending in Banking and Institutions, with an understanding of industry requirements that can be met via decisioning solutions.
Disciplined, self-motivated, proactive & result-oriented with a strong desire to succeed and the ability to work under pressure and independently.
