Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARYAssist on technical aspects of projects including reviewing design, authorities liaison, construction monitoring and contract administration.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Perform site assessment, data collection and user requirement capture on the proposed project scopes of work.
• Prepare Needs Statement, Technical Specifications and Drawings for Pre-Tender Documents compilation.
• Assist in reviewing design proposal by Consultant/Contractor.
• Assist in Tender Briefing / Site Visit and Tender Evaluation processess prior to approval.
• Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by Management.

Key Challenges

• To ensure all projects meet the required deadline for the issuance of pre-tender documentations prior to calling of tender.
• To assist the Construction Management Unit to ensure the undertaken projects are completed within the pre-determined time, cost and quality; concurrent with the ongoing changes, requests and requirements.

• Excellent time management skills with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to harness and develop strong client relationship
• Proficiency in autocad or equivalent and design calculation packages.
• Working as part of the team structure the post holder (s) shall
• Deliver design and project management support from initial concept planning through design
• Commissioning and perform lead duties on projects.
• Have a track record in the design and delivery of high quality and complex engineering projects and ability to deliver the timescales and within budget
• Shall have the ambition to work in a progressive, innovative and take the lead on challenging projects.

Relevant IndustriesExternal

• Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience

EducationExternal

• Degree in Project Management/Science Computer/ Information Technology / Building / Construction or equivalent
