Job Description


POSITION GENERAL SUMMARYTo ensure that the overall operations of the aircraft parking bay and gate, check-in counter allocation as well as flight information published has been managed and operated according to standard operating procedures.
Manage and administer personnel in terms of discipline and competency.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure department Standards Operating Procedures (SOP) are strictly followed as require by ISO 9001 compliance as well as department Quality Objectives.
  • Comply and adhere to Malaysia Airports Information Security Policy (MAISP), Information Security Management System (ISMS) ISO/IEC 27001 as well as Integrated Management System (IMS) compliance.
  • Accountable to oversee day to day overall operations of Flight Operation Centre.
  • Complete and release gate planning and check-in counter allocation.
  • To monitor KLIA daily aircraft parking bay allocation, gate assignment and check-in counter operations as per planned.
  • To share information on ad-hoc flight movement to AOCC, as well as record and monitor movement accordingly.
  • To liaise with ITD technical personnel in solving problems that affecting the stability of Gate Allocation System (GAS) workstation, Flight Information Management System (FIMS) workstation, SITA Telex system, TAMS Network, CCTV, PABX or any FOC control room facilities.
  • To liaise with airlines, ground handlers and other related agencies in solving operational issues at working level.
  • To facilitate system and facilities maintenance requirement at terminal building and airside area or wherever related to FOC operational dominion.
  • To facilitate VVIP/VIP movement at KLIA by assigning aircraft to the requested parking bay or gate lounges.
  • Validate and update new aircraft registration number and reference into FIMS.
  • Liaise with the ground handlers, airlines, Air Traffic Control (ATC), ITD, Airport Operation Control Centre (AOCC) and other related parties during airport crisis or incident.
  • To liaise and facilitate PR/Corporate Communication Division in any event related with the usage of parking bay or gate preference at KLIA.
  • Responsible to ensure company policies and regulations are strictly followed.
  • To share latest company\'s objective, policy, procedures or other related development to its subordinates.
  • To prepare, submit daily status report or any other required information to AODM.
  • To brief and share operational information to the next incoming Duty Executive on duty.
  • To ensure sufficient manpower of GAS Planner and FIMS Controller specifically towards incoming shift on duty.
  • Continuously monitor and improve FOC working standard and performance of the staff.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain subordinates attendance, discipline and professionalism at the highest level.
  • To conduct yearly performance appraisal to its subordinates.
  • To ensure new staff undergo the on job training programs and submits OJT report to FOC Manager.
  • Attend meetings as and when required by the FOC Manager.
  • Report to FOC Manager and immediate superior with regards to highly concerns operational matters.
  • To prepare and submit incident report (if any) to FOC Manager and immediate superior relating to operational matters and discrepancies of flight information published.
  • To write and complete shift log book for each duty covered.
  • To ensure supplies and equipment are being utilize economically and efficiently.
  • To perform task(s) as per instructed by the superior.
  • To act upon internal Business Continuity Plan (BCP) processes as it needed.
  • To abide by instructions of the FOC Manager.

  • To ensure the daily gate, aircraft parking bay, check-in counter are appropriately allocated.
  • Flight information are accurate and up to date at all times.
  • To ensure the smooth of passengers flows are influenced by the gate allocation and check-in counter allocation.
  • Coordination with relevant parties related to operational issues.

Relevant IndustriesInternal
  • Diploma with 2 years relevant working experience in Supervisory role in airport operations.
  • STPM with 3 years relevant working experience in Supervisory role in airport operations.
  • SPM with 5 years relevant working experience in Supervisory role in airport operations.
  • Good knowledge in all aspect of Airport Operations and familiar with Annex 9, Annex 14 and other airport regulations.
External
  • Bachelor\'s Degree with 1 year relevant working experience in Supervisory role.
EducationInternal
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in any discipline preferably in Airport Management or Aviation Management or equivalent.
  • Diploma in any discipline preferably in Airport Management or Aviation Management or equivalent.
  • STPM with at least 3 principals.
  • SPM with:
  • Bahasa Malaysia - Credit
  • English - Pass
  • Mathematics - Pass
External
  • Bachelor\'s Degree preferably in Airport Management or Aviation Management or equivalent with CGPA of \xe2\x89\xa5 3.0
