EXECUTIVE

HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT, AND SECURITY (HSES) UNIT, UNIKL MITEC

(Persiaran Sinaran Ilmu, Bandar Seri Alam, 81750 Masai, Johor)

KEY ROLES :

Implement and maintain the UniKL Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System to ensure continuous compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, including those set by local authorities such as BOMBA, DOSH, and DOE. Plan, implement, and coordinate Safety, Security, and Health initiatives, including the conduct of regular campus-level meetings. Coordinate and enforce all requirements under MQS and STRIM to meet audit standards and ensure timely renewal of certifications. Monitor and update records of equipment requiring approval from local authorities (e.g boilers, compressors, etc.). Liaise with local authorities (BOMBA, DOSH, DOE) for the renewal of licenses related to heavy equipment. Establish, review, and update procedures on safety matters for compliance and audit purposes. Conduct regular inspections, accident/incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement appropriate risk control measures, including follow-ups on Job Safety Analysis with respective supervisors. Assist in preparing monthly management reports on HSE matters.

REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum a Bachelor Degree in HSES / related Engineering or any related field. Minimum of two (2) years' working experience in a related field. Possession of additional or specialized certification in HSE/Engineering will be an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, gather feedback, and provide technical advice to employees at all levels, including Management.
