Responsibilities

To assist IT Manager in selecting, designing, implementing, testing, maintaining, and training end users in all Application Systems. To coordinate, monitor, and report to IT Manager issues related to Application System between vendors and end users. To compile end-User requirements in developing and selecting a suitable Application System for NMUC. Provide IT support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction. Monitor IT support dashboard for requisitions and process first-in first-out based on priority and efficiency. Support daily operations of administration, configurations, and installations which include but are not limited to computers, printers, CCTV systems, and networks. Liaise with external vendors and maintain smooth operations in both the front and back end. Coordinate logistics and setup of hardware equipment to respective outlets; Assist in the administration of server systems, network communication, email systems, database systems, backup systems, etc. Maintain inventory of all equipment, soffware, and software licenses. Report issues to the IT Manager and manage computer setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software. Assign users and computers and perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required. To install and maintain Windows Operating System and accessories such as a printer for staff PC. To maintain existing systems such as a Door Access System, Y Soft System, Drupal Web Content Management System, and CCTV system (Software side). To maintain and troubleshoot problems in the Computer Lab and Staff PC. Assist in the day-to-day operation of the IT Department Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports Testing and evaluating new software like Learning Management To work and be deployed out of office hours for emergencies, major events support, and projects.

Requirement

Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering. At least two years of working experience are preferable. Working knowledge of Windows OS desktop, Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware and VM management. Working knowledge of IIS server/ Apache server, HTML and PH programming language, and MYSQL database is preferable. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Good oral and written communication in the English language.
