, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of our group payroll process. You will support senior team members in administering payroll activities in compliance with all company and statutory policies. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to build a strong career foundation in payroll administration.
Key Responsibilities
As a Payroll Executive, your main activities will include:
Data Administration:
Accurately key in and update employee data within the SAP system, covering recurring payments, deductions, perquisites, membership/loans, and all claims (e.g., overtime, night allowance, leave/absence).
Monthly Payroll Processing:
Execute the full cycle of monthly payroll runs, including processing online salary, statutory payments (e.g., EPF, SOCSO), and other scheduled disbursements.
Financial Reporting & Reconciliation:
Assist in posting FI/CO transactions to the Manager PTP & RTR (Pay-to-Process and Record-to-Report) and perform certain General Ledger (GL) reconciliations, such as payroll reconciliation.
Annual & Ad-Hoc Activities:
Manage annual tasks such as bonus and festival advance calculations/payments, and statutory submissions (e.g., Form E, EA & STD).
Statutory Compliance & Arrears:
Handle calculations, preparation, and payments of arrears according to new Collective Agreements (CA) and manage NUJ/NUNW conversions when required.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and internal stakeholders, handling ad-hoc payroll matters as required.
Required Qualifications
A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience (1-3 years) in payroll processing is preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Practical experience utilizing the
SAP payroll system

Familiarity with local Employment and Statutory Acts, including knowledge of
EPF, SOCSO, IRB, and HRDF
regulations.
