Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Existing fund management

Assist in funds and company due diligence from the retail channels i.e. bank distributors.

Monitor, analyze and prepare data analysis on the unit trust industry and market trends.

Assist to update existing sales/ fund deck on a frequent basis.

Assist to support the sales team in resolving certain product / technical queries.

2. Funds development and research

Assist the team to prepare documentation, obtain signatories, support the submission processes and obtain the approvals from internal and external parties for new fund launches.

Support the team in documentation and coordination for any supplemental requirements to the prospectus/ info memo/ deed.

Compile and review information on new funds launch in terms of type, investment strategy, assets growth and investors investment behaviour trends.

Compile and analyze of funds performance, investment strategies of peer funds and gathering of market intelligence e.g. distributors for the new fund launch, marketing materials etc.

Assist in the research and idea generation of new product ideas

Work with the investment team on investment themes and strategies for product positioning.

3. Department

Assist to update the department\xe2\x80\x99s manual and other risk controls when being advised.

Assist to coordinate for meetings e.g. Product Meetings, Working Group Meetings and prepare the minutes for the relevant meetings.

To work on projects, where required for process improvement or for implementation of new initiatives.

Job Specifications:

Qualifications

At least Advance Diploma qualification in finance/business/economics from established and recognised university.

FIMM Unit Trust license is preferred.

Experience

At least 1-2 years of experience in unit trusts/investment industry.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Proactive and resourceful

Highly analytical and with eyes for details and documentation

Good writing skills in English is preferred
