Job Position \xe2\x80\x93 EXECUTIVE , QA/QC ( PASIR GUDANG )
Lead, manage and drive the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Unit by establishing and implementing quality system and procedures to ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System and to cultivate a Quality culture / mind-set based on the Quality philosophy of continual improvement in company Key resource person for audit activities within business unit.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)
Develop and manage the Quality Management System, in collaboration with respective departments, to have an effective and efficient system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001.
Review the quality assurance procedures to identify / incorporate / propose improvements to instill the culture of continual improvement within the respective Business / Service Units (BU / SU) of the company
Ensure establishment and implementation of the Quality Plan at project-level in collaboration with Project Manager(s).
QMS AUDIT
Prepare detailed plan(s), execute, and manage the Quality Management System audit programs, at project-level / Business Unit as per the Audit Plan to ensure / gauge the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Manage audit(s) by external parties (e.g. clients & certification / regulatory bodies) in collaboration with the respective Business Units to ensure compliance to the auditors\xe2\x80\x99 requirements timely and accurately.
Responsible for quality monitoring system and maintain QA/QC records.
QUALITY PERFORMANCE REVIEW
Analyse and review the Quality reports e.g. audit result, Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Quality Action Notes (QAN) and Welding Performance to determine root cause of problems and to agree / recommend corrective / preventive actions.
Communicate \xe2\x80\x98lessons learnt\xe2\x80\x99 to all related parties pertaining to NCR, QAN and Welding Performance with intention to prevent the occurrence of similar non-conformances.
Act as a Focal Person for the Project Team(s) to identify, collate, review, and expedite submission of comprehensive / complete project specifics procedures to clients on schedule
PROJECT SPECIFICS PROCEDURES
Prepared Quality procedures e.g. Inspection and Test Plan, QA Plan and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) as reference / guideline for the Project Team(s) to meet the required standards / specifications according to contractual requirements with the objective of achieving customer satisfaction.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM)
Develop and maintain professional business relationships with client(s) and QA counterparts through networking to gain clients\xe2\x80\x99 confidence and to create conducive environment for implementation of Quality systems in order to achieve Quality targets and objectives
CONTRACT REVIEW
Review approach / techniques to meet client\xe2\x80\x99s Quality requirements and ensure implementation throughout project execution to achieve client\xe2\x80\x99s satisfaction.
Propose substitute resources / methods, if any, to client(s) as alternative(s) with the objective of meeting client specification / contract requirements.
QUALITY PROGRAMS/ACTIVITIES
Plan, develop and ensure implementation of Quality programs (e.g. Quality walkabout / Quality Incentive Award / Competitions / talks / workshops) to promote Quality culture
Act as a Quality Change Agent to promote Quality awareness company-wide by conducting briefings / training / talks / counselling in order to support the establishment of Quality culture / environment in company Melaka.
QUALITY RESOURCES
Plan, strategize and manage Quality resources in terms of manpower, equipment, and consumables for Project Team(s) to ensure effective and efficient resources utilization / management is within budget to meet customer satisfaction.
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES
Lead and participate in Quality improvement initiatives (e.g. new testing methods and system procedures) to improve Quality standards and performance.
LEADERSHIP
Lead and motivate subordinates demonstrating good leadership and to enhance their competencies/capabilities, to promote commitment and dynamic team spirit with the objective of gaining customers\xe2\x80\x99 confidence and supporting business growth
Requirement
Client Contract
Degree in Engineering
Experience as Quality Engineer in at least 1 main mechanical static turnaround works.
At least 5 years experience in as Quality Engineer in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical turnaround, construction or maintenance.
Knowledge requirement
Familiar with code and standard (ASME, PTS, API, ISO, AWS..)
Experience in procedure write up for work execution in addition with WPS, WQT
Understand and experience in document management system to ensure document traceability
Experience in static and welding work for plant maintenance
Understand the defect and damage mechanism related to plant inspection as well as sour service especially in Petronas plant
