Job Description

This QC/QA Manager’s (QC/QA) role is to ensure that all production aspects of various client global campaigns, collateral, and the adaptation of brand assets across all media is defect free before the final release to client. Add to that, help to define, actively implement & optimize a new operating model that will help you, your team and all our clients to achieve quality and fast turnaround delivery that is enabled by utilizing a global dedicated team seamlessly.
Reporting to the Studio Manager, the QC/QA Manager’s key responsibility is to understand, with razor sharp clarity, what the client wants, expects, and delivery requirements are, so that targets can be set and used as a measurement of success in the validation processes. This role will ensure that deliverables pass through the necessary gateways before deployment to guarantee the best possible and consistent quality of creative output.
Therefore, a perfectionist’s eye for detail is crucial, and experience of working within a multidisciplinary team is a huge advantage. The QC/QA will be working alongside internal teams and the client to help drive projects through to completion, on time and on budget.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:
Minimum 20-50 Mbps fibre connection required for remote server connectivity.
Help build a new (regional) team from the ground-up
Be an operational champion and support for the MORE processes, tools and best practices
QC/QA multiple design and production projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Continuously assessing working methods and processes and making recommendations for
improvement
Collaborate with the regional & global team
Oversee the overall quality, consistency & technicality of deliverables
Digital File Management -- Downloads/Uploads of assets via various transfer methods
Review files to ensure the brief has been met
Review final files copy matches the brief
Review and ensure all requested sizes/formats/ colours are correct
Verify files against a tracking sheet
Review and ensure all assets have exported correctly
Notify the uploads to other relevant team contacts
Communicate and alert appropriate team leads about any discrepancies or issues with
assets
Communicate the status of production file assets with the team to ensure timely retrieval
Track continuous trends in QC and work with QA Lead and other team leads to correct issues
Checking copy amends have been actioned.
Checking brand guidelines have been implemented and followed.
Checking that all files as provided are in the correct format & spec
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with your colleagues & teams
Offer guidance/support to the team
Flawless execution of projects on time, on budget and project admin with excellence
Being a team player, ability to influence, stepping-up and taking ownership
Ability to quickly immerse in operations and problem-solve
Impact beyond the assignment
Strong experience in creative, print and digital production environment
Ability to produce, maintain and evolve QC checklist.
Good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and
ideally Premier
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software.
Comfortable in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written communications; bi-lingual
is advantageous
3- 5 years’ experience in file management using a Digital Asset Management system
3- 5 years’ experience with multiple operating systems - Windows and Mac OSX
Experience doing QC on files, knowing what to look for efficiently to review high volumes of
files
Meticulous eye for detail
Experience with various digital file formats -various image, video, compressed files
Experience with digital file transfer methods
A basic understand digital media in relation to various production workflows
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of digital distribution workflows
