Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:


1. Provide support in the development and operationalization of AI governance framework and related policies and procedures.


2. Assist in provision of oversight and quality assurance on AI solutions and products throughout development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to responsible AI practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Assist in identification and assessment of potential risks and concerns arising from AI solutions and products, and development of mitigation plans to address them.


4. Assist in development of presentation materials for management reporting and internal training on AI governance matters.

5. Support preparation of responses to regulatory consultations related to AI governance matters.


6. Conduct research and monitor emerging AI governance trends, best practices and regulatory requirements to support policy development.

Requirements

Role Requirements:


1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

2. 3-5 years' experience in legal or compliance pertaining to AI governance, technology risk, data protection, intellectual property rights, or related function.

3. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and regulatory frameworks impacting AI such as PDPA, MCIPD, GDPR, and EU AI Act.

4. Keen interest in AI ethics and regulations, data protection, and/or technology risk.


5. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with attention to detail.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.

7. Self-motivated with strong work ethics, with the ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders including legal, compliance, risk, and business functions.

8. Familiarity with AI-related concepts and prior experience in financial services, digital, or fintech sectors is an advantage.
