Job Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



i. To serve as the first point of contact, handling a high volume of in-person, phone, email, and live chat inquiries.

ii. To provide accurate information and process transactions across various student service areas, including admissions, registration, academic records, financial aid and student accounts.

iii. To assist students in navigating institutional portals, online systems and digital tools.

iv. To process standard forms and request such as enrolment verification letters and student ID cards.

v. To investigate and resolve routine student issues independently using available resources and knowledge base articles.

vi. Identify complex or sensitive cases, escalating them to senior team members with clear and concise notes to ensure a smooth handoff.

vii. Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to find solutions for students.

viii. Maintain the front-office environment, ensuring it is organized, welcoming, and stocked with necessary supplies.

ix. Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

x. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and exceptional student service.

xi. Adhere to all established university policies, procedures, and data privacy regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB COMPETENCIES

Minimum Academic Qualification



i. A post-secondary degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably with at least 3 years of working experience in the education sector.

2. Experience



i. Previous experience in a customer service or student-facing role in higher education.

3. Core Competencies



i. To possess strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.

ii. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions.

iii. To maintain a high level of empathy, patience and professionalism, especially when dealing with sensitive situations.

iv. Able to multitask, prioritize and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

v. To be proficient with computers and willing to learn new software systems and student platforms.

vi. To have a team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 per month
