Duties & Responsibilities
Job Function:
To liaise and work closely with various stakeholders including Consultants (Mechanical, Electrical & Structural Engineers), Construction teams, Vendors and Suppliers on project requirements to ensure that store designs are efficient, sustainable, and commercially optimized. This role ensures effective space planning, proper implementation of all commercial requirements into the store layout, and the delivery of an enhanced customer experience across all stores.
Job Responsibility:
i) Produce working drawings and specifications such as Construction/ technical Drawings for construction purposes.
ii) Liaise and coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical & Civil Engineers, consultants, contractors, and related parties (for matters related to the system used for 7-Eleven premises).
iii) Manage design development, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
iv) Assist site supervisor during Site Marking to ensure proposed store layout can be implemented at the acquired site(s). To make good decisions in a fast-paced environment if any changes happen at site vs layout/design.
v) Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design & technical discrepancies on/off site.
vi) Resolve design and technical issues arising during project execution
vii) Investigate new design standards and specifications in relation to operational and budgetary needs.
viii) Experience with managed properties such as Mall, Transport Hubs and interior decor background will be an added advantage.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
i) Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields (3-5 years of experience)
ii) Basic knowledge of M&E and Civil works.
iii) Experience in design, fit-out, or project coordination is an added advantage.
iv) Strong involvement in coordination between design, technical and site execution
v) Able to read and understand technical and construction drawings.
vi) Good communication skills to liaise effectively with engineers, contractors, and related parties.
vii) Able to work independently and as part of a team
viii) Proficient in AutoCAD (SketchUp / 3D software is an advantage).
ix) Willing to travel and perform outstation duties when necessary.
