Job Summary

Provide day-to-day administrative support with readily available advice for network & transport planning/design operations plans and processes to provide fast, reliable, efficient and affordable transportation/ shipment of goods from origin to destination, meet customer and market-specific requirements in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

• Under direct supervision, support delivery of processes and activities for network & transport planning/design operations
• Perform assigned tasks of generally repetitive nature to support other team members such as checking on-time performance, pricing verification, shipping schedule verification, etc.
• Load/ unload the loading unit/ loading security
• Enter loading/ unloading activities at customer end through appropriate tools such as scanning application, phones, etc.
• Pick-up/ deliver shipments within specified time
• Make note of events and exceptions, report back on the same
• Support maintenance of vehicles and equipment in working order
• Enter resource allocation and movements on the transport planning system to maintain up-to-date transportation records
• Contact shipping agencies, transport companies and customers to verify delivery prices and schedules
• Provide response to routine internal/ customer enquiries on delivery times and shipment/ order status
• Follow and achieve compliance with set processes and policies
• Check recurring routine issues faced during delivery, else escalate to supervisor for inputs and guidance
• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team
• Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation
• Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationship.

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics and Transportation Management.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in MNC environment, handling transportation related matter.
• It will be added advantage if candidate is subject expert of Transportation system in Malaysia.
• This position is located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Baharu.
