Executive, Transport We are looking for experienced talents who specialist in Transport who are well-verse with freight forwarding industry. Overall, this role will be responsible liaise with contracted local and interstate truckers on daily delivery arrangement and update for internal system. Also, to provide assistant to general operational support to internal team. The role requires to execute the below tasks and initiative: Initiative - Problem solver and willing to take more responsibility Analytical (attentive to details) Customer Orientation Planning and Organizing (able to Multitask) Supporting new project go live in Jan 2023. Daily monitoring pending search grid booking (All product) Daily monitoring ESP timestamp Managing all ESP related Register vendors & drivers ESP To communicate the truck details to internal customers as well as to inform them of any changes to these details upon receiving the revised truck details from truckers. To ensure all documents related to these movements are accounted for and passed over to the respective departments on a timely. To update all daily milestones related to Transport Section on a timely basis in ESP To reply and response on a daily basis all related emails from internal and external customers. To escalate all related issues pertaining to Transport immediately. To perform any other duties as assigned by immediate superior. To report regularly to the immediate superior on the performance of the area of responsibilities To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below: Possess Diploma/ bachelor\'s degree in Logistic Management & Transportation or any equivalent academic background. Minimum 2 year working experience in the freight forwarding business. Exposure to Freight Forwarding and familiar with CargoWise (CW1) system will be added advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Outlook Skills require: Attribute require: Work Independently (minimal supervision) Positive Mindset (able adapt to system changes) Fast learner & Proactive Good self-disciplinary Work under pressure Fluency in conversing and writing in English is require as this position will interact with clients and aboard colleagues. This position will be based at our Penang Branch, Bayan Lepas.
