Job Summary
Underwrite life insurance risk in accordance to the concurred authority; ensure meeting personal KPI and work as a team to meet departments and company\'s vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite and counter sign life insurance risks up to the concurred authority
- Abide by quality underwriting practice which includes prudent, competitive and consistent underwriting decision, follow the set guidelines (internal and reinsurer manuals); adhere to legal and compliance requirements, company and regional underwriting policy.
- Initiate and foster good working relationship with the Sales Team and agents.
- Support initiative and project that are initiated from Group to ensure that we are align with Group and company direction.
- Any other duties as and when deemed necessary
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of working experience in underwriting for life insurance or related field.
- Team player, good interpersonal and communications skills
