Key Responsibilities

Manage client briefs and support concept development with technical feasibility, cost, and timeline assessments for successful execution.

Propose market-driven active ingredients, technologies, packaging formats, and market trends to both internal teams and external clients/prospects.

Act as the primary technical liaison between Business Development (client needs), R&D (formulation), and Operations (production) to ensure seamless project transfer and scale-up.

Proactively recommend innovative packaging solutions and assist in sourcing and evaluating packaging based on functionality, aesthetics, cost, sustainability, and product compatibility.

Manage communication and timelines with packaging suppliers and internal production teams to ensure projects adhere to the Critical Path Schedule (CPS) from concept to launch.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in R&D or Product Development within the cosmetic/personal care industry, preferably in an OEM/ODM environment.

Solid understanding of raw material costs, ingredient functionality, and formulation chemistry.

Proven experience with cosmetic/personal care packaging sourcing and evaluation (e.g., compatibility testing, drop tests) is highly desirable.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Familiarity with cosmetic regulatory standards and documentation requirements (e.g., ASEAN, EU, FDA).

Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and client-facing project management skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
