Position Summary: Staying relevant, innovative, and at the forefront of culture, our Curator is in tune with the market, emerging trends, the latest cultural & lifestyle happenings, possess unique networks and challenges traditional experiences by providing intentional, alternative and memorable moments. Breathing life into the Else brand and shaping the way people perceive, interact and engage with us is the mission. Curating tribes and developing our profile ecosystem, placing Else as one of the "must visit" venues in KL. Connect Else to the pulse of creative KL (arts, culture, fashion, literature, food, wellbeing) Curate content to accentuate the guest experience and stay, and express Else\xe2\x80\x99s ethos / brand To speak to the multi-modal nature of our guests\xe2\x80\x99 lives and lifestyle.Globally Connected but Locally Rooted. We want to take a more internationally attuned lens to highlight the best of KL / Malaysia, and to act as a bridge for discourse and dialogue between the Malaysian scene and the international community. We are not looking to replace / replicate what currently exists in KL, but to amplify and add to it. Serve as a platform for the local community. An active participant and contributor to the cultural landscape. To raise the profile of content available by providing a more appropriate setting for a more mature/sophisticated audience. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as brand ambassador to external partners. Identify and execute strategic partnerships and
  • collaborations to create meaningful content for our platforms or enrich the Else experience;
  • Drive engagement events and seeding opportunities within relevant influential circles;
  • Develop and maintain a robust program of on-site events and partnerships. And curate calendar
  • of wider KL events and programming for our guests;
  • Responsible for project management and coordination of events.
  • Preserve Else\xe2\x80\x99s unique perspective and character in the market.
Our core program within Else should be built on 2 core pillars.
  • Wellbeing & Mindfulness (exploring & understanding how best to treat ourselves internally & externally) - This will be executed with On-Property classes and workshops. (Quarterly schedule)
  • Culture(Showcasing our love and the best our community has to offer in art, music, design, architecture, fashion, literature and food) - This will be executed with On & Off-property talks, events and workshops.
  • These Pillars to be executed in 2 ways.
  • On-Property Experiences - The overall purpose of Else. Being & Living intentionally, sharing the process of our products and offerings as well as those who have helped us build and produce them. Highlighting our services and amenities. (Flotation Pods, Gym, Pool House, Library Den and Restaurants)
  • Off-Property Experiences - An introduction and exploration to our neighborhoods, our favorite places and people. (This connects our guests to our broader network and provides them an insider\xe2\x80\x99s touch)
Desired Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a community, events, marketing or PR environment;
  • Excellent insights into the Kuala Lumpur lifestyle, culture and hospitality landscape;
  • Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malay;
  • Demonstrate understanding of digital marketing
  • Flair for photography/ videography is a bonus
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred;
  • Comfortable with highly flexible working hours;
  • Able to continuously act as brand ambassador.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM3,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month Schedule:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
