We\'re looking for an experienced Texture Artist to join our award-winning team conveniently located in Mid-City Valley, Kuala Lumpur. As a Texture Artist at Double Eleven, you\'ll be creating textures that add depth and dimension to objects, buildings and environments. You\'ll need to understand the texturing process along with its technical and artistic constraints to work on projects that are realistic and well as stylistic. We can support relocation within Malaysia and have a dedicated Operations team on standby to assist you and your family with every step to us. Would you enjoy Helping to create beautiful games Being part of an amazing team working on multiple AAA titles Being trusted to work independently and proactively to the highest standards Working with experienced teams in the industry All that without having to sacrifice your work-life balance or worry for your job security What You\'ll Be Doing Work directly with Leads to keep quality and style consistent across all environments and art assets Creating high-quality textures/materials using tools like Substance, Zbrush, Photoshop Develop advanced shaders, optimise assets, create efficient tile-able textures, smart materials in Substance Provide direction and constructive feedback to develop a consistent, quality visual style Will need to fully understand and work around existing art pipelines and all technical constraints Expert in PBR, lighting, rendering, and material authoring Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of material art pipelines Works with Production to prioritise work and maintain a clear and consistent schedule Review work for quality and carry out various supervisory responsibilities Is proactive in finding answers and able to clearly communicate issues and direction to the team Is capable of owning development of, and delivering within a project Upholds a sense of professional ownership, keeps a positive attitude, and ensures tasks are completed to quality Receives and provides critique in a professional manner What We\'re Looking For Has proven game cycle experience as a Texture Artist Has shipped at least one title An extensive portfolio of Materials at AAA/realistic quality Expert knowledge in node-based material editors, tiling layered material, shader networks and procedural texturing Strong modelling skills required to support any material based work in Maya, 3DS Max, Blender and/or the equivalent tools Advanced understanding of Photoshop, Substance Designer/Painter, and Zbrush Has a passion for 3D environment art, set dressing, lighting, and texturing Demonstrates excellent foundational skills, including composition, design, structure, silhouette, and colour theory Has an excellent understanding of the environment art pipeline, dependencies, and overall scope of the project Demonstrates an ability to work with detailed concept art or reference art materials Is organised and practices good time management skills Finds creative solutions for technically challenging tasks Experience working in an Agile workflow Qualifications All relevant qualifications considered What To Expect Start your day any time between 8:00am and 10:00am 35 working hours per week with a flexible 1 hour lunch break Annual leave + gazetted public holidays + leave for your birthday!
