Explosion & Fire Protection Technical Engineers (Explosion & Fire Protection Engineering Multinational)

Job Summary:

Provide technical supports as stated below to distributors and customers in Asia Pacific for Explosion Protection (EP) and Fire Protection Systems.

a) Product design recommendation.

b) EP / Fire system design solution.

c) Troubleshooting as needed to resolve performance issues.

d) Provide system commissioning service and guidance to distributors / representatives.

e) Conduct technical training from time to time to empower distributors' technical teams.

f) Work closely with sales team and working partners to seek new industrial and application opportunities for EP's products and systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Provide EP & Fire product/system technical assistance and support, works with factory resources to formulate solution and Bill of Material (BOM) meeting customers' requirements and expectations.

2. Perform product troubleshooting as needed to resolve product / system performance issues. Responsible for material return for product evaluation, prepare material evaluation form, inquires MRA number from factory. Participate in technical evaluation, assists in preparing written reports documenting evaluation, and works with the supervisors to determine best method to communicate information to the sales channels and/or customer.

3. Conduct EP & Fire technical seminars and trainings to distributors and customers from time to time to create EP & Fire safety awareness in the target market segments

4. Responsible for coordinating and distribution of technical information between company and distributors in Asia Pacific region. Liaise with the factory in investigating and responding to problems identified by distributors and customers.

5. Provide system design works and training for new distributors / customers.

6. Develop EP and Fire system specification to aid consulting engineers and local working partner.

7. Assist sales team and distributors to promote usage of EP and Fire systems to the OEMs, end users and engineering companies in the upcoming projects.

8. Assist EP and Fire leadership to build EP and Fire Service Team either own service technicians and/or partnership with our local country distributors. Ensure they are capable of performing maintenance service for installed EP and Fire systems.

9. Assist EP and Fire leadership to learn and support the new EP and Fire Consulting business when the market needs arise.

10. Possess willingness to accept added responsibilities from time to time either within EP and Fire business and/or cross-business within company when needs arises.

11. Assume the EP and Fire technical champion in Asia Pacific region with deep understanding of related NFPA Standard Codes. Achieve mastery on EP and Fire equipment, system design, control system configuration, and standard/code compliance.

Preferences:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Applied Science or relevant Engineering degrees Good presentation skills. Knowing to operate Auto-CAD is an added advantage Fluent in both spoken and written English. Ability to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage (for supporting customers from China and Taiwan). Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a diverse work group. Ability to work under stress to meet deadline. Strong personal discipline and teamwork.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
