Job Description


Royal Selangor is looking for driven individuals with a passion for sales to fill the vacancy of Export Business Senior Executive. You will be reporting to the Head of International Sales. About the Export Business Senior Executive Role: You will be responsible for ensuring sustainable business growth in multiple countries assigned. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and agree on annual and long-term international market strategies with key stakeholders
  • Liaise with direct oversea offices and distributor partners to build a seamless export network and brand presence across Asia, Middle-East, Europe, ANZ and American continents
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction, while jointly building the brand focused on the ultimate consumer, purchase points and market share in each market
  • Day-to-day management of all trading issues with foresight to preempt issues
  • Develop and implement customer account plans, including revenue profitability and promotional activities
  • Manage the account planning process, the points of sale and the ultimate inventory database in each market
  • Stay continually up to date with a detailed understanding of the market dynamics and stay ahead by exploiting opportunities on a timely basis
  • Build relationships and engage key stakeholders with the internal functions of marketing, finance and operations to resolve business issues cross-functionally
  • Provide leadership for the sales operations team, including goal-setting, coaching and development
To succeed in the Export Business role, you are required to work effectively and cooperatively with the Global Marketing, Design and Product Development departments. Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of four years of experience in Sales, or a minimum of two years of experience in managing importation business
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Business or any relevant field of study
  • Experienced in import businesses out of home and retail channels
  • Good customer, stakeholder, and distributor management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English & Mandarin
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
