Job Description


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating and implementing an effective strategic plan for Facilities Systems capacities is the responsibility of the capacity engineer. To develop plans for future support needs with Manufacturing and other support departments, the function demands excellent analytical and teamwork abilities. In addition, the following duties related to technical or data analysis:

Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings.

Assists in providing metrics for cost, capacity, performance reports, and trending and forecasting with comparisons to recognized industry standards.

Forecast any cost needed for the operation and maintain follow CS facility O&M budget forecast process.

Perform on-site measurement device installation and coordinate the tool down time for the tool measurement purpose.

After the measurement, recover the tool side connection, do the data summary per the template required by intel to support SI PM for the FDS update request to MDP owner.

Support capacity automation tool (FaSTr, Pipe-Flo, Easy Power, Derivative System, etc) deployment.

Perform the audit on automation tool database under the ownership of system owner, and audit the document format, key content, and change control process (check in check out process), coordinate the stakeholders to close the gap if there is.

Support automation tool database accuracy sweep check, and update for legacy facility information in database if needed. Perform on-site verification if required.

Provide modeling/simulation service by using pipe-flo if requirement by Intel, like running modeling in pipe-flo to support operation work like EC, stretch capacity.

Join in automation tool WG (site/VF) if it is set up.

Work with ACCP programmer to enable the function for Level 2 UM, DF automation, etc by using ACCP.

Work with ACCP programmer for existing ACCP function regular test, report inspection, database update, problem solving and any improved request by Intel.

Provide support to the ACCP tool test and data collection if required.

Other support for VF and CD site infrastructure/capacity planning related request by Intel.

Profitability/ Savings Initiatives

Develop initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement.

Customer Service / Client Relationships

Evaluate service response time and analyze client\xe2\x80\x99s service request trends and suggestions.

Listens to customer feedback, recognizes opportunities and provides feedback for technical innovation.

Pro-actively develop and manage client and business unit relationships ensuring that the expected service levels are achieved.

Lead by example in achieving maximum client satisfaction level.

Reporting

Ensure delivery of meaningful inputs across the functional in the development of monthly management reports.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all information reported associated with Daily Shift Ops Report, Weekly MRM Report, Monthly Report, Risk Assessment, BAR, Maximo PM Closure and other imperative updates.

Training

Work closely with the JLL Management team to devise new and innovative methods of learning built around skill development, leadership and succession planning.

Leadership

Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence.

Able to work in a team environment with other engineering fields to plan facilities capacities, future capital and space management in support of manufacturing and support areas.

Coach the team ensuring high staff morale, trust and work ethics.
