Facilities Engineer

Job description

Our Client who is a global manufacturer located in Perak and they are looking to hire a Facilities Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement modifications and safety measures as per production requests and regulations, ensuring compliance.
• Provide technical support for efficient plant machinery operation.
• Plan, organize, and supervise contractors for plant-wide projects and modifications.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and ensure safe equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot plant faults and implement improvement projects for enhanced reliability and performance.
• Coordinate Electrical System Calibration and Maintenance in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in preparing Facilities Yearly Budget for Electrical consumption and maintenance.
• Manage plant engineering projects and perform regular plant inspections.
• Collect data for energy conservation analysis and identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Conduct energy audits to evaluate usage, costs, and conservation measures.
• Monitor energy consumption by area and provide monthly reports to the Costing Department.
• Oversee design and construction related to energy, solar systems, and sustainable design.
• Manage service contracts, procure spares, and promote safety equipment compliance.
• Maintain proper housekeeping after completing assigned jobs in the plant.

Requirements:

• Chargeman B0 or B4 (33kV) Certificate.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in plant facility.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
