Job Description

The Facility Engineer in our Company will play a key role in supporting our new manufacturing plant startup in Malaysia. This position is responsible for supporting facilities installation, operation and maintenance. The role will focus on providing reliable technical support to production, ensuring our facility systems operate safely, efficiently and in alignment with our world-class manufacturing standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Support daily operation, maintenance and improvement of manufacturing facilities and equipment related to DC panel production and battery pack assembly. Ensure optimal performance, safety and compliance of all facility systems, including electrical, cooling system, BMS system, compressed air, fire protection and production support utilities. Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. Support facility installations, upgrades and expansions, including coordination with contractors, vendors, internal team and expertise from China. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards and environmental requirements. Support production and engineering teams by ensuring facility readiness and resolving technical facility related issues. Monitor energy usage and implement energy saving and efficiency improvement initiatives where applicable. Maintain proper documentation for facility equipment, service reports and maintenance records. Support EHS initiatives and ensure proper workplace safety measures are in place.

QUALIFICATION:-

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical or it's related. Possesses competency certificate from the Energy Commission of Malaysia (e.g. Chargeman, Electrical Competent Engineer (CE), or equivalent) will be highly desirable. 2-5 years of relevant experience in plant facility management, preferably in manufacturing / Industrial plants. Hands-on knowledge in electrical distribution systems, BMS, HVAC/cooling systems, and utilities (compressed air, water supply, etc.) Understanding of workplace safety, local regulations and environmental standards. Able to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project coordination skills. Good communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams. The candidate must be willing to work in Jeram, Kuala Selangor.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
