Job Description

Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate all FAI activities for new product introductions (NPI) and engineering changes. Develop comprehensive FAI plans by thoroughly reviewing customer drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and other contractual requirements. Manage and track the FAI timeline to ensure project deadlines and customer expectations are met. Generate, compile, and maintain detailed and accurate FAI Reports (FAIR) in accordance with industry standards ISO 9001:2015 and specific customer formats. Verify all supporting documentation, including material certifications, certificates of conformance, and special process certifications Ensure all inspection results, including dimensional data (bubble drawings), visual inspections, and functional tests, are properly documented in the FAI package. Review and validate inspection data against drawing specifications, with a strong focus on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Identify and document any non-conformances discovered during the FAI process and work with engineering to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions. Act as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding all FAI submissions, queries, and feedback. Submit complete and accurate FAI packages to customers for review and approval. Proactively manage the customer approval process, addressing any questions or rejections swiftly to prevent delays.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar role within a precision manufacturing environment. Expert proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications. Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Familiarity with various metrology and inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, SmartScope, Calipers, Micrometers). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external customers.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
