Job Description

1. FARM COORDINATOR, PEKAN, PAHANG. 2. FARM COORDINATOR, ROMPIN, PAHANG. Job Purpose: Supervise the running of BERNAS paddy farm operations in the perspective area as appointed (district level @ based on farm location in state), covering farm-schedule monitoring, local agencies collaborations, input and machine supply coordination, farm manpower management and liaison with local farmers and paddy community. Work as a team in establishing large-scale all-inclusive estate model and managed to achieve highest yield. Responsibilities: 1. Procedures and Compliance.

• Ensure effective implementation of the highest standard of paddy work-schedule / rice check / SOP.
• Receive instruction from farm engineer to excute the best relevant technology and innovation as planned to achieve sustainable result.
• Coordinate and supervise the application of seeds and input in the farm.
• Excute the right method of claim process and cash flow.

2. Quality and Yield.

• Assure the highest paddy quality produced from the farm.
• Ensure optimum yield of paddy per hectare as targeted.

3. Sustaining Effective and Efficient Machines & Equipments.

• Ensure machines used are optimized.
• Ensure timely and complete execution of innovations at field
• Drive excellent Health, Safety and Environment culture

4.Managing Effective Resources.

• Monitor farm engagement programs effectively within budget
• Manage farm waste effectively and efficiently
• Keep in touch with local agencies, service providers and farmers relating the farms in under responsibility.

5. Controls & Integrity.

• Ensure controls of input stocks and farm produce in place and working
• Practice high level of integrity in discharging the duties & responsibilities
• Monitoring all the activities that are related on the field.

6. Other Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor, compile and reports Department KPI achievement.
• Collaborate with other teams to drive Division\'s and Company\'s Vision, Mission and Core Values
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: 1. Qualifications:

• At least Diploma in Agriculture/Science and /or Farm Management or similar level

2. Years of working Experience:

• 5 years, in agricultural environment, farm management or in chemical engineering environment or similar.

3. Specific Knowledge:

• Sound technical background particularly in agriculture preferably in paddy and rice sector, mechanization, morphology, farming and/or chemical/mechanical engineering disciplines.
• Compelling people management and farm resources planning/scheduling capabilities
• Able to interpret agronomic, mechanization and farming analysis that drive decision making
• Intermediate level in MS Excel and presentations
• Business administration and supply chain experience would a plus

4. Skills:

• Strong in leadership and managing group of people.
• Analytical and having problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (farmers, agencies, vendors, brokers, staff)
• High interest in technology (machines, data, artificial intelligence etc.)
• Having reasonably strong business acumens
• Good command in Bahasa Melayu and/or local dialects and culture
