F&b Inventory Supervisor

Job Description

As a Inventory Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to manage and maintain inventory in a store or warehouse. This includes the efficient handling of incoming materials, accurate record-keeping, and ensuring optimal levels of supplies to support smooth operations and meet customer needs.

Responsibility and Accountability:

1. Order Placement and Material Receiving:



Place daily orders with suppliers before the cut-off time. Create and cross-check that purchase orders are executed accurately. Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.

2. Inventory Management:



Ensure the restaurant's inventory records are accurate by updating physical inventory totals, tracking stock movements (incoming and outgoing), recording adjustments, and processing returns. Responsible for packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies. Responsible for stock rotation and coordinating with chefs to use products before expiry. Responsible for end of month stock count and stock count reports. Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the storeroom.

3. Stock Out and Restocking:



Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels. Monitor the par level and ensure restocking levels are maintained to avoid shortages. Ensure that all stock requests are fulfilled without any out-of-stock situations.

4. Record-Keeping and Documentation:



Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom. Manage asset records accurately. Submit accurate reports to the client by the given timeline.

5. Supplier Relations and Ethical Practices:



Manage supplier relations and databases. Maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally.

6. Front-of-House Operations:



Perform Front Desk service during meal period with excellent customer service. Support Front-of-House Operations as and when needed

7. Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:



Be prepared to undertake any ad-hoc duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Respond promptly to unforeseen situations to ensure smooth unit operations.

Qualifications:



Graduate Diploma, or equivalent in business studies, hospitality or relevant field.

Skills and Experience:



Experience in inventory management and storekeeping. Proficient in written and spoken in English or Malay language. Ability to perform Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with order placement, material receiving, and inventory control processes. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of ethical business practices and supplier relationship management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM3,700.00 per month
