Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and lead the service team during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Assist in preparing staff schedules and ensuring adequate manpower coverage. Train, mentor, and motivate new and existing staff to maintain service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally, escalating serious cases when necessary. Work closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and placing orders when needed. Support management in promotions, events, and initiatives to improve sales. Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards according to company SOP. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the F&B industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/team leader role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate staff. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in handling customer issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and team members. Hands-on and proactive; willing to lead by example on the floor. Basic understanding of operations such as stock control, ordering, and scheduling. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and a passion for hospitality.
