Roles & Responsibilities Provide engineering support and coverage to a defined group of designers, both consulting engineers and focused customers, to gain specifications through HILTI\'s differentiated engineering service. Provide professional educational seminars and presentations for engineering or architectural firms to inform them of Hilti products, their performance characteristics, applications, and product limitations. Provide competent recommendations to engineers on specific applications using sound engineering judgment; educate specifier on technical advantages of Hilti solutions not covered by test data. Demonstrate consultative selling skills, convincing customers of the need for technical products, software, and services. Secure technical business through specifications and providing technical support through regular planned visits to various stakeholders within the construction industry. Coordinate efforts to convert specifications and approvals into sales, while assisting Account Managers in building competence with engineering products. Maximize the sales potential of HILTI products and services by specifying and converting sales opportunities with selected customer groups and projects. Manage sales and application opportunities in a defined list of targeted projects through project management and coordination of all engineering and sales resources. Build strong relationships with customers and helping them find innovative and cost-efficient solutions. Offer technical support and training to customers to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering support service. Develop strong relationships with technical decision-makers to achieve favorable HILTI Product Specifications within the assigned segment. Attain specifications, engineering standards, and driving sales opportunities through planned calls with consultants and contractors within the assigned segments. Collaborate closely with the sales team to resolve contractors\' issues using HILTI engineering products and proactively generating new business opportunities. The role involves providing technical advice to architects and engineers in order to secure specifications early in the design process. The job holder is responsible for key project specification of Hilti products, software and services, supporting the sales team in their efforts to sell a variety of Hilti solutions. Good communication and relationship building and management skills with all levels.
