Schindler innovative mobility solutions is currently operating in hospitals, airports, government buildings, offices, condominiums, shopping malls, factories and many other areas throughout Malaysia.

Field Engineer

  • To practice integrity, honesty and trust
  • To ensure clear instruction are followed and work according to the management systems and fulfilling ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standard requirements
  • To work safely according to the company safety policies
  • To ensure Claim are handled and submitted to GCM Upon the required information is completed
  • To ensure proper communication with claimant
  • Timely follow up with factory for the replacement of material or compensation
  • To collect data from operation teams and feedback to factory / R&D
  • Distribute replacement material to claimant once received it from factory
  • Coordinate with factory for the field support when there is situation require detailed investigation by R&D / component expert
  • Share the information of corrective action released, including DLFI (Directive Letter Field Information), FI (Field Information), LPCA (Logistic Pipeline Corrective Action)
  • Consolidate required feedback from operation teams to report affected unit in corrective action
  • Order materials required for the affected units in corrective actions
  • Organise meeting with operation teams to systematically plan the retrofits action
  • Follow up with operation teams to ensure the completion of retrofits and update the reporting to FACT database
  • Perform random CA desktop audit to verify the retrofit is properly executed through photos uploaded in eCorr.
  • Gather information from EI department regarding to Qualiger Oil replacement.
  • Update Oil replacement date, Contract status to the master list in monthly basis.
  • Gather information from EI department regarding to Qualison Unit contract status, and update the master list in monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly Top Claim report
  • Perform first level analysis to defective material
  • Report high value or high quantity product design issue in PROCITS
  • Report hot quality issues to JSG QPS team
  • Provide monthly report and remind EI operation teams to cover MQW for every servicing technician
  • Required by the company and other relevant authorities
  • Report any unsafe conditions or violation of safety and environmental regulation immediately
  • Follow Safe Work/ instruction
  • Wear appropriate protective equipment for carrying out work
  • Keep all working tools in safe and good working conditions
  • Report all injuries, accidents and / or dangerous occurrences

Education and Experience - required by a newcomer to this position

Mandatory: (Note: a candidate may not be recruited to this position unless mandatory requirements are met)
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Mechanical & Electrical knowledge
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic Computer skill
Preferred:
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 1 year of experience in EI / NI
Professional Skills & Experience - required by a newcomer to this position
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform analysis to the defective material
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Technical Report writing
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate through email with fluent English
