• Independently carry out the technical, administrative and commercial planning and scheduling of new installations, maintenance and service activities on turbomachinery equipment for Field Service personnel.
• Calculate and issue quotations for Service, troubleshooting, new installation and commissioning
• Draw up the specifications for any needed site subcontractors for installation/commissioning personnel
• Evaluation of subcontractors quotation and select qualified subcontractors for Field Service work all in collusion with the Field Service pool
• Coordination & communication among all parties involved in the field service activities. Arrange and lead the kick-off/pre-installation meeting as well as follow up site inspections.
• Arrange, review and compile all the necessary documentation and work instructions for the Field Service staff to complete planned activities safely, including Risk Assessments and HSE assessments
• Arrange for the necessary consumables, tooling, lifting and other needed equipment
• Arrange and perform the briefing and the de-briefing meetings with the delegated Field Service personnel
• Technical & administrative Support of the Field Service personnel during their site assignments.
• Ensure that all work done in the field is clearly reported and documented.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years practical experience on rotating equipment (steam turbines, turbo compressors, and expanders)
• Knowledge of local technical standards and directives
• Familiarity & knowledge of turbomachinery
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a high degree of customer orientation
• Intercultural skills
• Ability to uphold the highest technical standards
• Organization and improvisation skills
• Cost and result oriented, and high physical and mental strength.
• Good reporting skills
• Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, can handle stress and manage difficult situations in a calm manner.
• Good communication skills and understanding in English in conversation with internal departments, customers, subcontractors, as well as in writing.
