Field Service Engineer

Job Description
Summary:
Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site support to clients in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of technical equipment and systems. They must be willing to work outside of a traditional office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring technical equipment and systems at client sites.
- Providing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to existing equipment and systems.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues, and providing solutions
- Testing and calibrating equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Documenting all work performed, including detailed reports on any issues and solutions.
- Providing training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and systems.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technical advancements in the field and sharing this knowledge with colleagues and clients.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, engineering, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field such as electrical & electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or any related field
- At least 3-5 years of Semiconductor equipment support experience.
- Good communication skills. Understand Japanese language is an advantage.
- Problem solving, time management skills and flexibility.
- Willing to travel.
