You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of control room and station systems. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant and process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the operation of gas turbines, steam turbines, and other associated equipment in the combined cycle power plant through the control room. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and established protocols to start, stop, and adjust equipment for optimal performance.
• Continuously monitor and analyze data from various control systems, including Distributed Control System (DCS), Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and other monitoring tools, to ensure proper functioning of the power plant. Identify and troubleshoot any abnormalities or deviations from expected performance.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, such as equipment failures, alarms, or abnormal operating conditions. Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks, protect personnel and equipment, and ensure safe plant operation.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operating parameters, equipment performance, and incidents. Generate reports on plant performance, equipment status, and other operational data as required.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, perform equipment isolations and lockouts, and assist with equipment troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety procedures, and company policies related to power plant operations. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest technology, industry standards, and best practices related to gas power plant operations. Participate in training programs and develop skills to enhance performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of plant operations.

Experience Requirements:

• Candidate must possess minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Steam or relevant background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a gas power plant, with specific experience in operating and controlling GT26/GT13e2 gas turbines in power stations.
• Strong knowledge of gas power plant operations, including combined cycle operations and control system technologies (e.g., DCS, HMI, etc.).
• Ability to analyze and interpret data from various control systems to make informed decisions and troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and generating reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and operations.
