I. Ensure all car park equipment is in good working order and regularly maintained.
II. Oversee all external car park equipment and maintenance vendors.
III. Rectify all equipment breakdowns within your scope and undertake emergency repair works as and when required.
IV. Provide regular feedback weekly on any problems encountered with the car park equipment or with the relevant car park equipment vendors and suppliers of all consumable items.
V. Advise on spare parts and additional equipment required to ensure all equipment functions according to manufacturer's specifications.
VI. Oversee all vendors in the installation of car park access control equipment in all new car park sites or whenever equipment is replaced.
VII. Place orders for all new equipment and spare parts required upon receiving approval from CEO or Executive Director.
VIII. Programming of all access cards and/or redemption vouchers.
IX. Advise on emerging technologies relevant to the parking industry.
X. Check for alien access cards at each car park.
XI. You are required to work during emergencies after office hours.
XII. Assist management to develop a set of reports to be generated to monitor the car park access control equipment to ensure its effective functioning and minimize any abuse or misuse by car park staff.
XIII. Assist with blocking and unblocking of cards if this function cannot be done at HQ.
XIV. Prepare equipment maintenance schedules for each car park location.
XV. Assist the Operations Manager as and when required with staff training on the proper use of all car park access control equipment.
XVI. Assist the Operations Manager as and when required if suspected manipulation of equipment is occurring at any car park sites.
XVII. Oversee the entire technical team and ensure they report to you any problems.
XVIII. Oversee the work of the entire technical team and ensure proper repairs and maintenance have been carried out.
XIX. Ensure all emergencies are seen to in the shortest time possible.
XX. Ensure there are enough technicians on festive occasions.
XXI. Submit assistants' work schedules in order not to incur overtime pay unnecessarily.
XXII. Any other functions or duties as may reasonably be required by the Management.
Requirements: -
With minimum Certificate/Diploma Holder in Information Technology (IT) or any related field preferred
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
At least 2 to 3 Year(s) of working experience in IT or networking field is required for this position.
Able to work independently, fast-leaner, persistent and result oriented
Good team player with strong communication, listening and organizational skills
Work location in Kuala Lumpur
