Driven by You Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Management Reporting (Effectiveness & Efficiencies):
  • Manage the month end reporting processes to ensure accurate results and the provision of high-quality financial information to drive operational performance.
  • Provide robust, consistent, and quality financial information and insights to operating unit and business management for making sound business decisions. Performs variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward.
  • Customize where necessary for the right business requirement and standardize where efficiencies are possible.
  • Interpret financial data, and use knowledge and understanding of customer\xe2\x80\x99s business, to deliver quality variance analysis and insightful commentary for management reporting on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Assist in better business decisions by provision of financial expertise and insightful analysis to all ad hoc queries in line with SLA.
Forecasting & Budgeting (Effectiveness & Efficiencies):
  • Accountable for creating and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the market. Make updates and changes according to country requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end budget process (Provide analytics on financial and operational changes & identify budget risks/mitigations).
  • Proactive interaction with Business to provide inputs, challenge, and outputs during forecasting updates.
  • Work with Finance Business Partners to determine and highlight risks and opportunities throughout the forecasting process and produce insightful analysis for inclusion in core planning presentations.
Process Transformation/Project Management: (Efficiencies via Simplification, Harmonization and Automation):
  • Continuous identification of opportunities to simplify, harmonize and automate processes, reports and analysis. Influence cross-functional and cross-divisional teams outside of direct span of control.
  • Leverage IT Tools like Hana, Anaplan, GMR, Power BI etc. to provide high quality and actionable output to Business including self-service facility to Businesses.
  • Track and monitor IT and Process improvement Initiatives rigorously and divide time effectively between on-going work and transformation.
  • Embrace and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to improve the quality and productivity of the APAC FP&A teams.
  • Project management leadership supporting the country Finance and APAC Leadership Team.
  • Drive change management for End-To-End Business Process in APAC Region, Sub-Regions, and Countries.
  • Super User for SAC Tool (Part of Aurora Finance Transformation), Power BI Data Lake, and Tableau. Working closely with the project and technical support team to drive the change management (adoption). Trouble shooting issues arising from countries and resolving for here and now while working on permanent process fixes at COE and Countries, if needed. Provide training to country Finance, APAC COE and APAC Leadership Team.
Leverage Technology (Efficiencies & Building for Future):
  • Leverage and use Anaplan, GMR, Power BI for it\xe2\x80\x99s full potential as a Modeling and Forecasting Tool vs. a historical database and MIS tool.
  • Supervise & Engage with Anaplan Team (Cloud / SME\xe2\x80\x99s), GMR Team and Power BI Team for below:
  • Conduct Planning and Reporting system assessment and formulate Blueprint for APAC.
  • Facilitate creation of new models, adopting from other BU\xe2\x80\x99s to reduce Excel Financial Models by Businesses / COE on QF\xe2\x80\x99s, Plans etc.
  • Ensure maintenance, development and overall functionality of Anaplan models. Review data integrity loaded into Anaplan for Actuals and AOC\'s.
  • Support forecast processes by uploading, maintaining and validating Anaplan\xe2\x80\x99s master data such as conversion factors, inclusion of new SKU\xe2\x80\x99s, deactivation of obsolete SKU\xe2\x80\x99s, product hierarchy and mapping by category, customer levels and EPH to ensure data quality and integrity.
Essential Requirements:
  • You will be naturally inquisitive with a highly analytical and process-driven approach. Key to your success will be:
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience with management reporting, P&L, Analysis of change and Cash Flow. FMCG experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, Power BI, Anaplan, SAP, Tableau. Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize strategic corporate tools and processes for data analysis.
  • Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model and driving execution across a matrixed organization.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with emphasis on business drivers relating to Gross to Net, product costing, and SKU/customer profitability
  • Business-partnering mindset with advanced stakeholder management, including outstanding influencing skills.
  • The ability to influence without authority and drive business outcomes.
