Finance Analyst - APAC FP&A COE



Your Job:

We have a vacancy within our talented APAC finance team, whose members are relied on as strategic and solutions-focused business partners. This position will support the KCC function, playing a key role to ensure sound financial management and the delivery of high-quality financial reports to help drive key business initiatives. Reporting to the FP&A COE Lead-APAC, you will be responsible for the following.

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

Management Reporting (Effectiveness & Efficiencies):

  • Prepare management reports and perform first level insights / analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Customize where necessary for the right business requirement and standardize where efficiencies are possible.
  • Provide clarifications and explanations to queries from Stakeholders and Country.
Forecasting & Budgeting (Effectiveness & Efficiencies):
  • Own Quarterly Forecast and Month Forecast (MKD where applicable) templates, make updates and changes according to country requirements.
  • Coordinate information collection and communication on Quarterly Forecast with all related business functions directly or via Finance team at Country.
  • Consolidate P&L and send to countries for review and sign-off and aid in query resolution on the Financial model. Facilitate Country review with Region through above.
Process Transformation: (Efficiencies via Simplification, Harmonization and Automation):
  • Continuous identification of opportunities to simplify, harmonize and automate processes, reports and analysis.
  • Trouble shooting issues arising from countries and resolving for here and now while working on permanent process fixes at COE and Countries, if needed.
  • Leverage IT Tools like Hana, Anaplan, GMR etc. to provide high quality and actionable output to Business including self-service facility to Businesses.
  • Track and monitor IT and Process improvement Initiatives rigorously and divide time effectively between on-going work and transformation.
Leverage Technology (Efficiencies & Building for Future):
  • Leverage and use Anaplan for it\xe2\x80\x99s full potential as a Modeling and Forecasting Tool vs. a historical database and MIS tool.
  • Supervise & Engage with Anaplan Team (Cloud / SME\xe2\x80\x99s) for below:
  • Conduct Anaplan assessment and formulate Blueprint for APAC.
  • Facilitate creation of new models, adopting from other BU\xe2\x80\x99s to reduce Excel Financial Models by Businesses / COE on QF\xe2\x80\x99s, Plans etc.
  • Ensure maintenance, development and overall functionality of Anaplan models. Review data integrity loaded into Anaplan for Actuals and AOC\'s.
  • Support forecast processes by uploading, maintaining and validating Anaplan\xe2\x80\x99s master data such as conversion factors, inclusion of new SKU\xe2\x80\x99s, deactivation of obsolete SKU\xe2\x80\x99s, product hierarchy and mapping by category, customer levels and EPH to ensure data quality and integrity.
Essential Requirements:
  • You will be naturally inquisitive with a highly analytical and process-driven approach. Key to your success will be:
  • Bachelor degree required (Accounting major preferred).
  • FMCG experience preferred.
  • 6-8 years of industry experience and FP&A experience.
  • Business-partnering mindset with advanced stakeholder management, including outstanding influencing skills.
  • Good attention to detail, accurate preparation, analysis and presentation of periodic financial reports.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Executive presence with facilitation, project management and change management skills.
  • Good excel skills, SAP knowledge. Power BI skills is an added advantage.
