Job Brief:

The Finance Analyst Financial Reporting, is responsible for supporting the Group Financial Reporting team in


ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial reports. The role covers the month-end, quarter-


end, year-end closing activities. The role also involves in supporting statutory reporting and regulatory submissions


to authorities.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries posting and general ledger reconciliations. Assist in preparation of management accounts with high-level variance analysis and commentary. Assist in preparation of various financial reports and support internal stakeholders. Assist in statutory reporting and regulatory submissions to BNM, ISM, PIAM, LFSA, and other relevant authorities. Support external audits through preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and responses to auditor queries. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., actuarial, pricing, and product teams) by providing relevant financial data and insights. Assist in enhancing financial reporting processes, internal controls, and system improvements (e.g., SAP B1). Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

Holds at least an Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or Professional Qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP B1 or other financial systems will be an added advantage. Preferred 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing.
