You\xe2\x80\x99ll also get to learn from us, develop your skills and gain valuable experience for wherever the future takes you.What will you do?Support month-end GL (general ledger) Business Banking, Treasury, Insurance, Payroll and Inventory (and other required) close and reporting activities contributing to Market\'s results.Support in the execution of Internal Controls in accordance with GSK Internal Control Finance Framework.Provide Controllership support and ensuring quality delivery of BIP & Inventory reporting responsibilities with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness on a daily basis around BIP activities.Resolve BIP & Inventory accounting and reporting issues.Support in the execution of month end close steps in accordance with month end close checklist (MEC) and Operating Procedures in places.Ensure compliance to Regional / Global Finance Hub policies, local Company legal and statutory requirements.Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner.Collaborate with stakeholders and other functions (e.g. C&C, P2P, O2C, FRMC, Stat&Tax) to ensure successful month-end close.Supporting the BIP & Inventory financial reporting of the designated legal entities.Support other team members through knowledge transfer; sharing of resource, knowledge and experience and best practice thereby ensuring quality is maintained.Support in projects and other ad-hoc activities:Support dividend payment process / related cashflow analysis & forecasting.Participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries.Other activities related to BIP, Service Delivery, Inventory and Controllership / Reporting activities.What will you learn?Obtain high level overview of working in finance department of a multinational organizationLearn about different systems and processes used in financial department of large multinational organizationObtain initial knowledge on data analysis and data driven decision-makingGet acquainted with accounting standards and their applicability in Pharma contextObtain high level understanding of financial reporting, internal controls and risk managementWhat are we looking for?Business Skills and CompetenciesDegree with Finance / AccountingExperience in Financial Reporting / Auditing experience including areas on financial accounting, reporting and statutory filing, master data maintenance, treasury, asset accounting, inter-company transactions, etc.Experience in working in Shared Service Centre in financial accounting or audit functions preferably in a multinational environment.Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines is met.SAP experience & inventory accounting experience is an advantage.Any ad-hoc request or additional activities as required by LOC and management team.Provides support to external and internal audit.Behavioural Skills and CompetenciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
