Job Description


  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; PA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
  • Proven experience in general ledger management, financial month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger Management:
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Review and analyze ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline and improve general ledger processes.
Financial Month-End Closing:
  • Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Work closely with team members to resolve any issues or discrepancies during the closing process.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
Auditing:
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the auditing process.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support documentation to ensure a smooth audit.
  • Address and resolve audit findings, implementing improvements to internal controls as needed.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in financial operations.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
