JOB SUMMARY

Chronos Finance Executive - Accounts Payable is responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function. This generally includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments. Further, this role operationalizes the company\xe2\x80\x99s commission schemes, travel, expense and reimbursement.
KPIs

  • KPI #1 Days payable outstanding (DPO)
  • KPI #2 Invoice Processing Cycle Time
  • KPI #3 Productivity & Effectiveness - Cost to process each invoice, average time to approve invoice, number of invoices processed annually
  • KPI #4 Error Rate - Below 10% of the total monthly payables entry and reconciliation
  • KPI #5 Response Rate - Below 4 hours during working days (clients)
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Calculate commissions for Sales, Operations and other teams as defined by the active schemes.
  • Calculate and process partner\xe2\x80\x99s commissions
  • Generate reports detailing account payable status
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers
  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payables
  • Address and respond to supplier inquiries
  • Ad hoc tasks/reports/activities as required by management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting (preferred.)
  • 2-3 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting
  • XERO Accounting Software experience (preferred)
  • Proficient Microsoft Office/Google Suite knowledge and skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practises
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytic abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for liaising with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
