Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in budgeting, account reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform account reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of general ledger balances and investigating discrepancies.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide explanations for deviations from planned results.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Support the external audit process by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Maintain fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation calculation.
• Prepare and submit GST returns in a timely manner.
