We have central support functions of Human Resources, IT, Finance, Legal and Marketing & Innovation in the Rentokil Initial Head Office locations and in country.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Finance Manager - Brunei (based in Subang) to join our team. Your new role would be reporting to the Finance Director in Malaysia and dotted line to the General Manager of Rentokil Initial Brunei, the position will be an integral part of Brunei's management team and one of the key business partners to the functional stakeholders and business unit heads.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Accounting Operation

• Ability to handle full spectrum of accounting functions which includes timely submission of P&L and Balance Sheet, Reconciliation, Financial Reporting and other Management Reporting.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and systems comply with group policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Regular review and strengthen the internal controls to enhance efficiency of finance operation.
• Review of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, sharing insights with the Management team.
• Review policies, guidelines & procedures to further streamline the credit control processes.
• Drive communication and collaboration with Sales and Operation on collection updates, credit release and overdue account.
• Business Partnering

• Identify trends and provide insights to the Management to grow their organization and profitability.
• Detail Value chain analysis and provide suggestion to management for improving pricing and margin analysis.
• Drive planning cycles developing budgets, forecast, business plans and scenario planning.
• Drive pricing and costing strategy.
• Others

• Manage and lead a team of 6 colleagues (2 Finance, 3 Credit Control and 1 Inventory)
• Liaison to bankers, external auditors and tax consultants.
• Drive and execute Finance Transformation initiatives including automation and implementation of new solution, processes and consolidation of transactional workload.
• Preparation of tax computation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Professional accounting qualification will be highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience, and at least 2 years management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with good business acumen, with ability to partner management to provide input into the business strategy from financial angle and drive business planning and review processes to enhance the business performance.
• Hands-on leader who is able to lead, mentor, and manager various section in Finance team.
• Team oriented and have the confidence in dealing with people at all level within the organization.
• Advance Microsoft Excel skills.
• Highly motivated, a self-starter, and a 'can-do' attitude.
• Monthly travelling to Brunei due to closing have to be there at least a week. The rest of the travelling is based on case to case basis.
