Job Description


  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance and Account or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 or more years of previous work experience in a financial role such as Accountant or Financial Analyst that has a good understanding of accounting concepts and financial reports.
  • Strong knowledge with hands-on experience in trade facility operations, accounting principles, practices and regulatory compliance, multi-currency & cashflow management.
  • Preferably strong leadership interpersonal, possess a positive attitude, able to cope with tight deadlines & under pressure, work independently, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, possess good command in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges.
  • Good problem solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions.
  • Critical observer-thinker, bringing fresh perspective and offer intuitive solutions and ideas.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Accounts & Finances of the Company and its subsidiaries
  • Manage complex invoicing requirements as may be required for billings of project nature.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliation documents, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and assist company cash flow forecasting.
  • Accountants plan, organize and administer accounting systems for individuals and establishments. Some occupations classified here examine and analyse the accounting and financial records of individuals and establishments to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain bank/trade facilities, negotiate on best financing rates with various banking partners
  • Advising on, planning and installing budgetary, accounts controlling and other accounting policies and systems;
  • Preparing and certifying financial statements for presentation to management, shareholders and statutory or other bodies;
  • Preparing tax returns, advising on taxation problems and contesting disputed claims before tax officials;
  • Preparing or reporting on profit forecasts and budgets;
  • Auditing accounts and book keeping records;
