The Role
This organisation is currently seeking to hire an experienced and qualified finance professional for the role Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis Manager. Reporting directly to the CFO you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for managing the planning and reporting cycles of the business. Ensuring an accurate picture of business performance and likelihood of achieving full year objectives at all times is crucial. This role is also accountable for the consolidated reports up to the global group. This position is best suited for an established senior finance professional (big 4 or commercial background) with exceptional leadership and extensive FMCG experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own the delivery of the group planning cycles. This includes a comprehensive process covering the full P&L, risks, opportunities, balance sheet, cash-flow and NWC across all aspects of the cycle.
Go \xe2\x80\x9cbeyond the numbers\xe2\x80\x9d and provide insightful analysis & commentary to facilitate the decision-making process for senior management. This position is instrumental in driving the ongoing performance of the business.
Prepare and review all weekly & monthly reporting requirements for the business (e.g., flash, CMT)
Effectively lead the finance team and promote an inclusive and accountable culture within the business
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent and professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/CIMA) is essential
Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 FMCG experience in senior finance roles (commercial experience is essential)
Working cross functionally with a solid understanding of business processes (IFRS, legislation differences, treasury function, etc.)
Big 4 OR 2nd tier audit firm background is highly regarded but not essential
