Position Description

To be responsible for month end process, banking and payments, monthly/quarterly statutory reporting and support audit process of multiple legal entities:

1.The nature, scope and tasks of this position

• Full accountability of the month end process against the company\xe2\x80\x99s reporting timetable
• Month end journals including payroll, prepayment, leases, accruals, commissions and depreciation
• Review the P&L for reasonableness and identify material coding adjustments as required
• Prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and implement and monitor the financial controls that support this;
• Support in the preparation and review of monthly financial reports in compliance with statutory requirements and management reports to assist decision makers by providing accurate and timely information on company\xe2\x80\x99s performance. To include:

• profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, revenue reports, monthly cost of good sold reporting, and any other reports as required by management to effectively and efficiently manage the business
• Preparation and review of intercompany reconciliations
• Preparation of Statutory reports including BAS, Payroll tax, worker\xe2\x80\x99s compensation for AUS entities and entities of other jurisdictions
• Manage banking, payments and company credit card
• Assist the preparation of monthly payroll
• Manage the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organisation is compliant
• with accounting standards
• Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related policies and procedures
• Assist the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
• Manage and overseeing the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial systems, lead system integration
• and/or upgrade
• Support daily operations of APAC business

2.Required Skills/Related Knowledge & Experience

• NetSuite experience highly desirable
• A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of month end close process, financial systems, financial reporting and financial data analysis
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer literacy - Microsoft Office suite of products including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel
• Superior time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• A strong focus on accuracy and high attention to detail
• Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
• Continuous improvement mindset
