Role Title: Financial Analyst Working hours: Mon to Thursday 8 am -5 pm, Friday 8 am -4 pm Nature of employment: Permanent role Client base role : Industry Oil & Gas (Regional Account) Client location: Jalan Kia Peng, KL (Assessableto public transport) Purpose of the role: Provide accounting support and guidance ensuring compliance with ExxonMobil controls and accounting practices. Support includes work order stewardship, cost tracking of Real Estate Department - CBRE facility business areas, Business Unit charging, cost tracking and forecasting, etc. Assists staff on data collection and presentation. Assists Controls and Business Advisor on CIMS processes, monthly scorecards, capital asset verification etc. Main key responsibilities: .Coordinate, monitor and track all cross charge activities to Business Units including data entry. .Assist client site financial activities i.e. accounts payable, month/year end closing, project capitalization, monthly cost stewardship, budgeting etc. .Assist CBRE sites & regional team with accounts payable activities. Position Dimensions The scope of a financial analyst can vary by site due to a variety of factors including: location, physical , number of person seats, budget, service offerings, Business Unit and requirements, etc. Additional factors include whether the facility is ExxonMobil owned or leased and in leased locations whether services are Client of CBRE or landlord managed. Historically sites have been categorized into \'Small/Medium/Large\'. However, the position would only be required at larger sites. Key Performance Indicators .Site financial plan versus actual expense. .Quarterly scorecard results. .Audit and UIA assessment scores. Required Qualifications/Competencies .Budget planning, preparation and stewardship. .Spreadsheet proficiency & SAP added advantage .Accuracy and thoroughness proficiency. .Good interpersonal and team building skills. .Five years functional accounting experience.
